About
What is 'Eastern Shoreline Zines'?
Eastern Shoreline Zines is a collection of zines, both online and in print, designed to educate young audiences about the issues facing the Eastern Shore of Virginia (ESVA). Using a zine format allows topics such as the history of ESVA, living shorelines, and natural disasters to be discussed in a concise, information-rich format. Each zine also includes handmade watercolor graphics to accompany the information and help readers unfamiliar with the shore visualize it.
